Document Specialist (Clinical Study Manager)


In this role, you will collaborate with different teams across the agency and organization to ensure that documents meet quality standards and adhere to regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining document management systems, ensuring that all documents are appropriately indexed and accessible to authorized personnel.

This position shall oversee and direct management and technical support tasks required for a contract for the National Cancer Institute.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain proper records of inquiries about ongoing research

Provide information, data, reports to formal and informal meetings where research are subject to review

Communicate internally and externally about aspects of clinical trial information to health professionals and scientists

Abstract key information to ensure data entry protocols are met and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures

Support internal projects and initiatives and perform other duties as assigned



​EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a health-related field

Competency in Microsoft Office software products, including experience with word processing and spreadsheet software

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PTMAs, SOPs, LOIs: 1 year

Data Entry: 1 year

Federal Government: 1 year



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 1 year of experience in the health care/clinical research fields

Experience with utilization of databases, including data element abstraction, milestone entry, generation of queries and running of canned reports

Knowledge and experience in clinical trials development processes (both scientific and administrative aspects)

Knowledge and experience within the oncology community a plus

Demonstrate experience in dealing with health care professionals at all levels, including effective use of both verbal and written communication skills and ability to assist in providing successful presentations to those professionals

Must have demonstrated self-motivation, effective communication, organization and process improvement skills

Business Development and Capture Manager


The Business Development and Capture Manager is responsible for the business development facet of the organization and ensures continued growth in a highly complex government contracting environment. The Business Development and Capture Manager will report to the President/CEO and Director and will have direct responsibility for the overall pursuit of new business, the identification and capture of new contracts, and the marketing of DAS Federal, LLC to potential customers. Primary duties include: identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients, collaborating with executives on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluating current business performance, and maximizing business reach and potential.

Identifying, capturing, and closing deals through proactive relationship-building with potential customers

Identifying and developing relationships with prospective clients while maintaining existing client relationships and teaming partners

Identifying potential clients and completing appropriate research on the prospective client’s needs

Establishing and maintaining a pipeline of target opportunities that have been qualified through initial conversations with government stakeholders

Developing new sales areas and improving sales through various methods

Maintaining a strong understanding of products and services, processes and operations, remaining up-to date on industry news, and seeking innovating new ways to serve customers

Author proposals, white papers, standard operating procedures, and other content



​EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree

Proven achievement identifying, influencing, responding to, and winning Federal government contracts

A track record of demonstrating the capability to establish relationships with Federal governments officials

Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills with ability to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely

Expert understanding of service and product and ability to innovate new ways the product can serve customers

Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities

Innate drive to succeed and take initiative

Strong problem solving and analysis skills

Strong organizational talents and ability to work under pressure and in new environments



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Recent experience supporting one or more HHS Operating Divisions in a customer-facing role

Intelligence leading to immediate expansion of corporate pipeline





Division Director


The Division Director is responsible for identifying, winning, and overseeing new business in the Federal HHS Agency marketplace, while building a pipeline for capture management initiatives. The Director needs to have a proven, successful sales, capture, and operational management record in the Federal Sector. A hands-on approach to building new business is essential. The Director will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Monitor government acquisition notices to identify those that align with DAS Federal’s capabilities and goals

Maintain relationships with various government leaders to identify, pursue, and secure new client opportunities

Research and analyze opportunities based upon resource capabilities, teaming options, incumbent strengths and weaknesses, competing providers, and budget and schedule requirements

Lead the capture and proposal lifecycle for specific opportunities

Provide operational oversight and direct supervision for contracts that are secured

Identify, escalate, and resolve issues affecting successful project performance

Author proposals, white papers, standard operating procedures, and other content

Present frequent executive-level reports, which include qualifying statuses of both in process bids and pipeline opportunities

Perform other duties as assigned


​EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree

Experience with HHS and/or CMS

8+ years of relevant business development background in the federal sector

5+ years leading the capture lifecycle with a demonstrated track record of identifying and qualifying opportunities and managing winning proposals successfully driving new revenue

5+ years of project and/or program management background

Demonstrated knowledge with the FAR, BPAs, IDIQ, contract vehicles, teaming agreements and the government contract lifecycle

A current pipeline built upon existing client and partner relationships

Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills

An aggressive, sales-oriented philosophy

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Ability to problem solve, generate ideas, and sell the solution

Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
